An Alabama high school football player who reportedly has received interest from Alabama and other Power 5 schools is facing capital murder charges in the shooting death of a fellow teenager.
Jessie James Altman, 17, is one of five male teens charged in the Jan. 4 slaying of Aaron “A.J.” Huff, 18, in Gadsden, Ala., the Gadsden Times reported. Gadsden detectives said one of the males got out of a car and shot Huff as he was sitting as a passenger in another vehicle.
