COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) — An investigation continues as two members of the 2017-18 Texas A&M women’s basketball team are being charged with injury to an elderly individual concerning an incident that occurred in December.
According to a probable cause statement, a 68-year-old man and his son said they were attacked by a group of five people which included Caylinne and Corinne Martin. The man said he bit Corinne on the thumb during the incident. According to documents, the man said he suffered a broken nose as a result.
According to Texas A&M, Caylinne has been suspended from the team per policy, and Corinne is no longer a part of the team after fulfilling her duties as a manager and is scheduled to graduate in August.
