A standout football player from New Castle faces DUI and other charges after being pulled over in Neshannock Township by police on Monday.
Marcus Hooker, 18, who graduated this year, faces eight charges in all, three DUI violations, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes, not having rear lights, purchasing alcohol as a minor and being a minor while operating a car under the influence of alcohol.
Hooker is scheduled to appear in court next Thursday.
Set to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes this upcoming fall, Hooker also played basketball and baseball while attending New Castle High School.
