Oklahoma City police completed an investigation earlier this month, but Oklahoma County prosecutors did not find cause to charge Ferguson.

Police declined to provide the incident report to The Oklahoman because he was not arrested or charged in the matter.

‘Terrance Ferguson is a very respectful young man who has recently had to defend himself regarding some false allegations,’ his attorney, Billy Bock, told the Oklahoman.

‘He cooperated fully with the investigation and appreciates the professionalism of the investigators with the Oklahoma City Police Department and Mr. Prater’s office, which has declined to file charges.

‘He continues to deny any wrongdoing and is looking forward to having this experience behind him.’

Now 21, Ferguson has been with the Thunder since being drafted in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft.

Although he was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended high school in Dallas, Ferguson played professionally in Australia for a season before he was eligible to be drafted by an NBA team.
