POLICE SAY 56-YEAR-OLD LISA FISHER WAS DRIVING A CHEVY PICKUP, WHEN SHE HIT A MOTORCYCLE, THEN LEFT THE SCEN OFFICERS FOUND HER AT A RESTAURANT NEARBY. PERSON WHO WAS STRUCK, NOW AT WAKE FOREST BAPTIST IN WINSTON-SALEM. ALSO IN LEXINGTON, FIREFIGHTERS RESPONDED TO A FIRE AT A VACANT BUILDING AT THE INTERSECTION OF WINSTON ROAD AND BIESECKER ROAD. WE UNDERSTAND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THE FIRE BROKE OUT. IT FIRST STARTED LAST NIGHT. NO WORD IF ANYONE WAS HURT. HAPPENING NOW, BURLINGTON POLICE ARE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A MAN WANTED FOR ASSAULT AND TRESPASSING. THEY’RE SEARCHING FOR 28-YEAR-OLD JEREMIAH WHEELER. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE AT AN APARTMENT ON SOUTH MEBANE STREET, AROUND FIVE THIS MORNING. A WOMAN SAID WHEELER, HER EX-BOYFRIEND, BROKE IN A ASSAULTED TWO OTHER PEOPLE THERE. A woman faces charges after a hit-and-run in Lexington Saturday night. Police say Lisa Swicegood Fisher, 56, is charged with felony hit-and-run and driving while impaired.The crash happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday near Cotton Grove Road and I-85. Police say Fisher was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup when it hit a motorcycle.Click the video player above to see other WXII 12 headlines.Police identified the motorcycle driver as Dylan Freeman, 21. He is now at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.Officers found Fisher a short time after the crash at a nearby restaurant. She is also charged with open container, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
