Authorities say a 29-year-old Colombian soccer player has been arrested on a domestic violence charge after an altercation with his girlfriend at a Miami Beach hotel. His girlfriend is also the mother of his children.
Pablo Armero remained jailed on $1,500 bond Wednesday, a day after his arrest.
An arrest report said police were called to the Metropolitan Hotel and found a woman missing some hair from her head. Media outlets report Armero and victim gave police different accounts of what had happened. Armero said they returned to the hotel after drinking Monday night and she asked him to cut her hair. She says that in anger he pulled her hair extensions out and cut her hair.
It is unknown if Armero obtain an attorney.
