MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

Teenagers arrested in connection to the beating of a former Davidson High School football player appeared in court Wednesday morning.

Eighteen-year-olds Alex Sullivan, Ellis Wright and Laquinton Williams Jr. were either in court or represented in court. All are charged with third-degree assault.

Authorities say they were identified from a video that shows 14-year-old Rodney Kim Jr. being beaten inside the Davidson locker room. Four other juveniles — all also former teammates of Kim — have been charged as well.

Wright did not appear Wednesday morning but was represented in the court proceeding. Williams and Sullivan both appeared.

All three 18-year-olds are entering not-guilty pleas. Their petitions to be considered youthful offenders will be determined at a later date.

For all three of the former Davidson players who are 18, a judge ordered that none may have any contact with Kim. Bond could be revoked for any defendant who has any contact with Kim.
