England footballer, Callum Hudson-Odoi, has been bailed by police after he was arrested on suspicion of raping a women at his penthouse apartment during lockdown.

The 19-year-old Chelsea striker, who was the first Premier League player to test positive for coronavirus, was detained in the early hours of Sunday morning after a woman complained to police that she had been raped.

He was questioned by detectives before being released on bail until a date in mid-June.

A representative of the player, who claimed to be speaking on his behalf, told MailOnline: “He says he’s innocent. That’s all you need to know. He’s innocent, he hasn’t done anything wrong. We’ve got no other comment to make.”

The footballer is understood to have arranged for the girl, who he met on social media, to visit his apartment in west London, on Saturday evening.

The girl, who is thought to be a model, travelled to his home, which is close to Battersea Dogs’ Home, after he sent a car to collect her.

Neighbours said she arrived at the block at around 8pm.

But around eight hours later, just before 4am, the woman called the emergency services, complaining of feeling unwell.

Police and the London Ambulance Service attended the property and the girl was taken to hospital, while Mr Hudson-Odoi was arrested.

Neighbours said parts of the block, including a spa area on the roof had been taped off by police.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday, 17 May to a report of an unwell woman.

“When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital.

“A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June.”

Chelsea Football Club have not commented.

Jackson County sheriff’s officials said a recent shooting was gang-related, but it turned out to be fueled by a disagreement between two rival rap groups, an investigator said.

“From what we’ve been able to determine, they have no formal affiliation with any local or national street gang,” Jackson County Investigator Jason Pharez told the Sun Herald. “This is basically two competing rap groups, if you will. None of them claim gang affiliation and we can’t find any definite proof there was any underlying criminal activity.”

The April 18 shooting led to eight arrests — five of whom were former football standouts at St. Martin High School .

The Sun Herald reached to find out more about the case after reviewing court papers where the attorneys for the alleged offenders say they are not gang members.

Instead, the suspects are members or friends of two rival rap groups — one known as Fu Fam and the other called Ban Runna Gang, aka BRG.

The shooting happened, Pharez said, after the rappers got into an argument over lyrics in some of the music when they met up to try to hash it out.

The shooting started, the investigator said, after some of the members instigated an argument that escalated until shots were fired from different vehicles.

“All of these guys went to school together and most played football or basketball together,” Pharez said. “They had hung out with each other ….before this.”

The shooting happened near McClellan Road off Washington Avenue in St. Martin.

Two of the suspects, Jimon Dixon and Quincy Brown, were shot and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Those arrested and their charges are:

  • Dixon, 21, of Pascagoula, and a former football player at St. Martin High School, charged with armed carjacking, aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
  • Tyler Polk, 22, of Biloxi, and a former St. Martin quarterback who now plays college football in Arkansas, charged with aggravated assault and shooting into motor vehicle.
  • Jayce Franklin, 20, of St. James Parish in Louisiana, and a former St. Martin football and basketball player, charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
  • Jo’Vawn ‘Ham’ McGee, 19, of Gulfport, and a former star running back at St. Martin, charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
  • Keni “Ham” Williams, 19, of Biloxi, and a former star running back at St. Martin, charged aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
  • Quincy Brown, 20, of Pascagoula, charged with aggravated assault, armed carjacking and shooting at a motor vehicle.
  • Cedric Porter, 20, of Ocean Springs, charged with aggravated assault and shooting into a motor vehicle.
  • Jalin Stallworth, 20, of Moss Point, charged with aggravated assault and shooting at a motor vehicle. He was previously arrested on charge of aggravated assault in Moss Point.

Since the shooting and arrests that followed, members of the group, BRG, have created a new video that addresses their arrests.

Pittsburgh, PA – Police arrested Pittsburgh Pirates’ pitcher Felipe Vazquez on Tuesday after he was charged with multiple felonies related to an illicit relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) began investigating after the young girl’s mother discovered text messages, photographs, and a pornographic video sent to her daughter by the major league pitcher, ESPN reported.

Vazquez, 27, was allegedly involved with the now-15-year-old girl for at least two years.

The police report said that in July, Vazquez sent the girl a video of himself performing a sex act, ESPN reported.

On July 23, the mother sent a text message to Vazquez that included screenshots of his messages and told him that her daughter was a minor.

Vasquez was arrested by the FDLE on Sept. 17 with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police, ESPN reported.

Police seized several electronic devices at the time of his arrest.

When he was questioned by police, he admitted to having “sex but not really” with the girl because “he could not fit his penis entirely into the Victim’s vagina,” the criminal complaint said.

He was charged with statutory sexual assault of a minor 11 years or older, unlawful contact with a minor, and corruption of minors, all of which are felonies, ESPN reported.

Vazquez was also charged with misdemeanor indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old.

Additional charges were expected to be filed soon, ESPN reported.

Vazquez was arraigned on Tuesday afternoon and the judge ordered him held without bail in the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, and said that additional charges from both Pennsylvania and Florida were expected.

Major League Baseball (MLB) placed the Pirates’ pitcher on paid administrative leave, according to ESPN.

However, sources said MLB was not launching an independent investigation because they planned to use the findings of the police investigation to guide their decisions regarding potential discipline from the league.

“Today we were made aware of an active law enforcement investigation involving Felipe Vazquez and his subsequent arrest,” Pirates President Frank Coonelly said, according to ESPN. “We take this matter, and these charges in particular, extremely seriously. We have informed the Commissioner’s Office of the investigation and arrest.”

Vazquez, a two-time all-star in MLB, was one of the best relief pitchers in the league in 2019.

He will make $4.5 million this year and has made $8.6 million over his five-year career, ESPN reported.

swatting death tyler Barriss

On December 28, Andrew Finch was shot and killed in Wichita, Kansas due to a hoax that went too far. Swatting is the act of calling in hostage situations and other threats on people and is–as much as I hate to say it–popular with some of the seedier sides of the gaming community. In this case, Tyler Barriss called in a false murder and hostage situation to a random address in Wichita over a Call of Duty match that he wasn’t even a part of. He was contacted by one player, who had gotten an incorrect address from the other player.

Barriss called in the hoax to Wichita police which resulted in an innocent and unarmed man being killed by police officers when they arrived and he answered the door. Barriss was arrested the following day. Now he may face felony charges for the wrongful death. The warrant filed in Kansas says that Barriss is charged with raising a false alarm, which is a felony that carries a penalty of up to 34 months in prison, though the state may decide to file additional charges after reviewing the case.

The most serious charge he could be brought up on would be second degree murder, which carries a 20 year sentence. If they settle for involuntary manslaughter, that could result in a maximum prison time of about 10 years. Barriss is being extradited from Los Angeles where he resides, to Kansas. The Kansas authorities must pick up Barriss by February 2.

Barriss is no stranger to the prison system or calling in false threats. In 2015, he called in bomb threats to a California TV station twice. In May 2016, he was sentenced to two years. He got out in January of 2017 and was quickly picked up again for violating a protective order that same month. He was sentenced to another year in prison, and again got out early on August 24, 2017.

During the month of December, Barriss used his Twitter profile “SWAuTistic” to claim responsibility for numerous bomb threats, including the Call of Duty World League competition in Dallas, and the Net Neutraility meeting that was held by the FCC. He was quite smug about his victories, tweeting “l swatted FCC and MLG Dallas l’m not busted yet. if you can’t pull off a swat without getting busted you’re not a leet hacking God its that simple.”

Brian Krebs, or Krebs On Security, reports that Barriss is a notorious swatter that has called in a lot of false threats, calling him a “serial swatter.” In an interview with YouTuber KeemStar, Barriss was completely unapologetic, saying “it is what it is,” and claiming that he doesn’t believe the death was his fault.

I don’t think that I should not do jail time, but I don’t think I should do life or get charged with murder, that’s all. I’m not saying that I’m saying I shouldn’t do any time at all though, because admittedly yeah I was involved. So if I get caught and charged, then so be it, and I’ll do whatever time they give me. I’ll serve whatever sentence because it is what it is.

At this time, it seems that the only charges being filed against Barriss are those in relation to the swatting death of Andrew Finch.  It doesn’t appear that any charges have been filed for the other bomb threats that were made in December.
